Bsnl wa1003a

I am currently using bsnl wa1003a modem and have plan 750ul and i want to use net simultaneously on my desktop via Ethernet card using win xp and also on my laptop via wireless using win vista plz help.........Thanks in advance.

In your desktop and laptop
Start /network/ Lan or wirless network
properties
Network settings
TCP/Ip
properties
select
Obtain IP address automatically
Apply Save.

select your modem/router.

did you choose your modem in the link given by essbebe ? and did you select ADSl config for multiuse

yes sir!!!!i did but the results was that that i was able to connect to my desktop but over the laptop it's just connected to wireless but i am unable to browse the internet.

You should connect in "Always On' connection.
Enable DHCp in modem

..try desktop lanport
....then Laptop ethernet port
..... then wifi for laptop
.......( you can also try in
.........Wireless security NONE . then jump to WPA)

Para two;
presume you have set up a wireless LAn in your laptop
.procedure;
Start All Programs/accessories/communications/
Wireless network wizard.
Follow instructions.


PS: Ignore what you don't need
or if . settings done properly.

Thanks dude it worked fine....i am able to do it...and happily browsing on both of my pc's
