BSNL VMC AN1020-21(Detailed Visual Guide)

Hello friends!

This is my first post on this forum.I've seen that many peoples find it difficult to configure Wifi to use on their Laptop/Notebook in the BSNL's latest Type-II modem.Here I'm providing detailed explanation to sort out this problem.

Similar to your modem. This may help

You can also switch to Bridge mode where all ports are open by default.

This is good post with pictures, working in my system.But it is connecting directly to internet if modem is on.I want it should connect to internet when i click on connect button in connection dialog.

Change to bridge mode. Simply log in to your modem, change PPPoE to Bridge.

Is This Work For the iPhone? I Have an iPhone 2G (3.1.3) but i cant connect it with Wifi. i have BSNL Broadband with VMC AN1020-21 Modem. When ever i connect it shows "Unable to join the Network". My iPhone works with other modem like Netgear. Please help me if u can...Replay n thnx in advance.

Refer guide. Check Channel number selected 6 or 11
1.
You should connect to BSNL Broadband In "Always On" PPP/PPPoE mode
USERID PW entered in wan page of modem.
2.
give a range say 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.10
In LAN page enable DHCP
3. Enable UpNp if seen
4. Check wifi works in laptop.
5. same ssid will appear in phone.
6. Enter security key , if any. used.
