These plans are ludicrous, especially given the current state of broadband in India. I would really love to be proved wrong though.

hey guys, What is the max speed i can get now from BSNL as per the new plan? (home user) somebody showing 2048/256 and 11062. is it speed of the connection?, then, how 11062 is possible? i may be stupid please explain me about this speed...

No. 11062 in the modem status page just tells us that the modem is synching with the DSLAM at 11062kbps. Just because someone's modem is getting synced at that rate doesnt mean, he can enjoy such speeds. The speed is set on the DSLAM, which is present on the exchange. The data rate displayed on the modem status page and the speeds being enjoyed are two different parts of the story.

I paid for an entire year for the dataone unlimited plan. I don't suppose I change plans or get a refund
