I have been facing this problem since some time now. It just gets more and more frequent as each day passes.
I use Huawei Modem for EVDO with the ZTE Wireless Terminal. The down speed gets to 0kbps and doesn't come back up. I then have to disconnect the internet and then remove the modem and then connect again.
I have tried formatting with different OS to see if its the OS, but no. I use a 1.5 meter USB extender. One thing to be mentioned is that the modem works without any problem on my laptop.
Has anyone faced this problem yet? Please help me fix this problem.
