My parents have taken Dataone from BSNL. Is it possible to use the username and password in DSL on a different phone line? I mean to say if someone knows their password can he use it on his Phone Line. I thought DSL id is also based upon the phone line? Can someone please clarify? Thank You

it could be a mistake.. it seems to be disconnecting every 1/2 hr.. was your modem on during that time?

Presume "Internet was down" meaning, you were not surfing at these times, but system was on.If you had taken these readings from BSNL portal, it shows some program, in the Computer trying for auto update. Could be Windows Update/AV PROGRAM UPDATE. .Disable all programs and use a Firewall program.Also in WAN have you set any time for IDLE period. usually 0.
