HiI am using BSNL 1mbps network connection with utstar -300r modemmy question is If i connect the modem to hub. hub to computer.so that i can use the connection for VOIP.if i try to connect like bsnl modem to hub .hub to computer.the bsnl line hangs frequentlyi have to switch off & on the modem regularly.if any other way I can use the VOIP & browsing.note:I dont have any router & static IP.
 
The ine hanging has nothing to do with hub or voip i use a similar config,and if ur using auto dial u dont need to switch off and on the modem once line hangs,What other config u can use is,modemcompvoiplet the comp share the internet connection ul need two lan cards for this.
