hi all...i corrupted my default firmaware of UTSTARCOM UT300R2U DSl router...plz someone provide me tht image file...🙁default one can be downloaded from your modem...plz provide me tht fast...
 
What is the problem?
Post Statistics ADSL page .
Check device status. post screen shot.
If it is new model Ut300R2u
you can upload this beetel 220Bx firmware AT YOUR OWN RISK.

This one not tried and no report so far whether working or not.

describe the procedure to extract FW from working unit.
 
well bro whenever i type 192.168.1.1 ...it directly goes to updta firmware page...i udnno whts prob...🙁

Describe the procedure !!!

With power on press reset for about 20 or 30 seconds.
Hope, you know how to reenter the settings.

Try this first.
Then type 192.168.1.1/info.html for Device status.
in address bar.
If Ok will give other page settings.

From wiki download the beetel latest FW and try.
 
it should give you an option to update from hard disk i.e. by pointing to where the file is.. here the file is the link provided by essbebe , the 59.x.x.x link..

and modem defaulted to FW update page.

Without opening the modem,/ &downloading FW,
he can easily try
automatic beetel FW update,
with Airtel's automatic FW uploader.
I have given details in Airtel Forum.

I just need the Device status details to confirm his Ut300r2U
is the new model ( same as beetel 220BX)
and Board ID etc tally .
Of course all at HIS OWN RISK !!!!
Last try to salvage ( for working model )
or "Brick" ( write off !) the modem !!
 

i have updated modem with wrong firmware and now only lan and dsl lights lit up. is there any solution to update original firmware

ANY FIRMWARE UPGRADE AT your OWN RISK
with other versions: not from Utstar website ( Not available ).

additional Info from a Russian site. ( Not for UT300R2U)
4 Extra work to do
1, Please input “arp –d 192.168.1.1” on the DOS mode of PC to clear the arp table. Because upgrading from some very old version, the MT880’s mac will be modified. PC must clear its arp table to connect to MT880 again.


From MT880 WEB page, choose “Tools-->System Setting-->Restore” to restore MT880 to factory default configuration.
