BSNL Broadband: Port Forwarding Huawei WA1003A

I had to forward the port I selected for utorrent.I read guide at portforward.com. So I had to set static Ip for that. After setting static Ip(but still in checkmyip.org my Ip is diff from Ip Iset) I wen to advanced and then PORT FORWARDING but it says cant open . I did it yesterday before resetting modem(only configuration was saving my id and password on modem) and worked fine but when I did after resetting modem when I try t configure it says some lan client thing. What is the reason and solution of above???

the static ip you se it LAN and the one which checkmyip.org shows is WAN..you should set 192.168.1.x ip as a static one.. and insert that in the port forwarding page of your modem.. the 117.x.x.x or the 59.x.x.x ip will remain dynamic.

But whenI click on 192.168.1.1>Advanced>Port Forwarding it says Insert Ip adress in LAN Client. Earlier when it did port forwarding it didnt ask so why now>>> What do do about that lan client thing????

Hey superprash you are right when i enabled DHCP i could enter in port forward section without setting up lan client. Hope this will inprove my download speed in BitComet
