yes.. you need to enter your computer's ip address there.. go to your command prompt(Start->Run and type cmd) and then type ipconfig .. you should find an ip address like 192.168.1.x .. you need to enter that info there.. if you still have some doubts please post screenshot of the portforwarding page
/members/jackhammer_10001/Also screen shot of the Device status page. which shows boardID/firmware version etc.Appears familiar , but not available in Google Yahoo search.Para two : out of thread ; did you buy the router from BSNL/market or they supplied it to you ?seems latest with more options.
under WAN connection, do you see only Bridge? also create a rule under add rule management.. and it would pop up under available rules.. then shift it to applied rules and click on apply and save/reboot your modem
you can use any port for bit torrent provided it is not a reserved port.. something like 6881 or 8434 .. anything.. just ensure you type in the same port no in the bit torrent client also.. under preferences.. in the port forwarding screenshot you have selected "Bridged" as your WAN connection do you see any other option other that Bridged?
if your modem is in bridge mode(meaning you have to connect manually using windows after turning on the modem)then there is no need for port forwarding as in bridge mode all ports are automatically forwarded to your computer.you only need to open ports in your firewall in computer.
