So it's July 1 already and though this site (http://172.30.3.130:9090/SSSS_Servlet?key1=usage&exceed=usage) shows I'm still on the 1.5gb/day plan, the selfcare site displays I'm on the 2GB BSNL CUL plan (2gb/day) as suspected.

Furthermore, I tried to activate the free top-up from this site (http://172.30.139.16:9090/ssssportal1/dailyFupPlanRedirection.do) and IT WORKED. Now my service details from the usage site (first link posted above) shows free top up service expires 01/08/2019.
