BSNL Broadband: Modem restarting every few minutes!

I am having a weird problem on BSNL connection. Every now and then the net dies. I login to my Linksys AM300 Modem page and find this under status
PP Login: Up
Internet IP Address: 117.197.201.28
Internet Netmask: 255.0.0.0
Internet Gateway: 0.0.0.0

I have to click on the disconnect and reconnect. Any clues why this is happening?

reset the modem

@rima you think it is modem problem ? I will try to reset it and inform again.I have a beetel 220bxI modem too. Downloading is good on that too, but loading pages, chat on yahoo is very poor.
