BSNL Broadband is now offering just 5% discount to government/PSU employees

In a latest move, BSNL Further ditched us by decreasing the discount to 5% on BSNL FMC's for Govt/PSU/Retired Employees. It was already decreased to 10% from 20% last year. This would come effect wef from 01102015 and reflect on October month's Bill.

Yeah price increase in certain plans for certain places, now discount reduction..if they stop 1091 plan I will too switch to Airtel
 
Some bills are going to inflate after this move. May be BSNL is confident after free night unlimited call offer.

They are not able to increase sales. So one way of reducing loss/keep revenue is to remove discounts..
 
It's an old tactics. Draw them in with food and shut the cage when they are inside.

As shown in the highlighted part of my bill below. This will be applicable from this month and the next bill you receive will have only 5% discount. A very good move by BSNL.
