Hi..
Im on a Home BBG Combo 1111.

Since 2 days, the speed fluctuates in every 1/20th second.

Each time I refresh the bandwidth meter, it shows different.

Speedtest.net is shit. Shows all wrong info.

So, I use this,
http://speedtest.dataone.in:83/bandwidthmeter/meter.php

So, what can be the reason ?

Also, Im seeing that, on every fresh connection, the first is getting redirected to some f**king Karnataka Motive. What the hell is that ? :frown:

Post your SNR and attenuation values.

Post your SNR and attenuation values.

Sorry, I always forget this. What is the recommended range values for SNR and Attenuation?

I seriously dont understand, whats happening.
When I called SDO and LineMan, they are saying, its all good.
Called the exchange head. He said, all good.

Now, either its the problem with this f**king Terracom modem or something.
Bcz, when everyone is saying, everything is all right, then why am I not getting the 2mbps connection ?

Im on Home 1111 and t should always come 1.7mbps or something.
But since a week, its less than 800kbps also.

Can anyone suggest, which is the best plan in BSNl to go, so that we dont have to worry ?

Is 2799 8mbps any good ?
I can go for it right now, if those stupid problems are not solved in next 2-3 days.
Damn .

from your screenshot ( Downstream Attainable Data Rate = 1027kbps ) it is clear that your connection cannot handle more than 1mbps. forget about 8mbps

Agree with above 2 responses. Here is my ADSL values:

Is yours a standard modem provided by BSNL? Or, have you purchased it outside?
Give a try with other modem(borrow for an hour from your neighbour or friend)

I exactly used to get like this, same as what CKR has posted, but since yesterday, its messed, after a new telephone connection was done from the same DP box. This one I applied for 500C plan. So, 2 telephones and 2 broadband connections.ot sure, what has happened since then./.Its completely dead.
