bsnl bills Rs.40000/- per month for broadband.. But usage shows only 3Gb😢

I am currently using bsnl broadband for 6 months. All very nice upto the last month. Today I received my bsnl bill for broadband use.

It is around Rs.40000/- and I am using HOME500C+ plan and I only used 2981MB.😢

It is total wrong billing by BSNL. HOW TO REGISTER A COMPLAINT ABOUT THIS IN CONSUMER COURT?.

WHAT PROOF I NEEDED TO FILE A CASE AGAINST BSNL. I MEAN EVEN BSNL PEOPLE COULD CHANGE THE DATA WHEN I FILE A CASE AGAINST THEM.:madness:

HOW COULD I PROOF THIS LEGALLY AND SUBMIT TO CONSUMER COURT.

THANK YOU...

If possible take a print out of your BB usage.
Note Chargeable units excluding Night usage.
Talk to the A.O

If not willing to explain, or revise the bill
give written application and
get acknowledgement in your copy.
Wait and then send complaint to Appealate officer.
Then Top man in Grievances cell.

If still no remedy, file all correspondence in
Consumer court and demand "mental Agony etc "
damages 1 Lakh or more as you wish.

In the meantime If you don't pay BSNL may disconnect
the telephone and BB connection.
Get service from an alternate ISP. ( Airtel if available )

You can also send an ONLINE complaint now, after meeting the A.O.

taking the printout and showing it to the CC should help.. it happened to a friend of mine.. he got it solved like this..

Thanks for your reply..

Just filed a complaint as you said... but how could they could possibly bill me like that...

Today only I got my bill.... I was totally shocked.... I cann't think anything about it as IT WAS A HUGE MONTHLY BILL I NEVER SEEN.

then I checked my usage. I checked both in www.data.bsnl.in and http://www.bbservice.bsnl.in.

Both shows me the 2911.97MB under "Chargeable Units(MB) Excluding Night Unlimited"

Then I realised that I was wrongly billed.

BSNL must check their database before giving me a bill like that. I thought about Consumer court that BSNL SHOULDN't REPEAT THIS TO ANYONE.

Thinking about making legal complaint against bsnl.. But I dont know what proof I need to submit..

Any ideas

we have gotten used to government companies billing us wrongly.

i end up getting my power bill corrected almost every time. they make mistakes almost all the time.
