BSNL BroadBand getting Disconnected again and again

Hi All,
I am using BSNL BroadBand 950 UL Plan and I have D-Link 2730U modem.
The problem for me is my internet is getting disconnected again and again in a interval of 5 to 10 minutes.
I have to restart my modem to connect back to Internet only for few minutes and after that it is poof!! gone!!..
Can you please help me on what could be the problem is and what i have to do?
I noticed the ADSL light is turned off when the internet is being disconnected.
What could be the issue? Please help me to resolve this.

i also have the same modem with same isp but with different plan i.e 800 plan, sometimes in a day i face the following issues what u r facing ...i think from their side it got disconnected for some time and it comes back after some time...but it not happens for me now when i updated the firmware for the D-Link version 2730 it solve the issue for me atleast..u can try this and see..hope it helps...for u
