bsnl broadband: Extremely slow since Monday June 14th - especially to international servers

Erratic Latencies, packet loss, choking, enormous congestion during 6-8am, frequent routing path changes (switching between savvis and tata every few hours), complete outages (for most of yesterday on the 16th).Did another undersea cable break ?
 
No idea what is happening, I get 190 ping to uk for a minute and then 400 the next minute.Something is either wrong in BSNL or another undersea cable. But there isn't any new news about any cable yet...(I guess BSNL seems to be having problem with giving all users 512?)

true that... the sucky indian backbone just broke at the puny little speed jump 😡:tongue:
 
This is due to the speed upgrades and other changes they have got into place, earlier their were no such issues.
