bsnl broadband disconnecting so much frequently last few days !?? anyone else seeing it too ?

Yes, it's getting either disconnected or its getting very slow, especially during evenings and nights (around 8 to 10 pm). I thought I was the only one with this issue.

yup i dint get it yesterday afternoon ,then late evenings i got it then again after midnight around 1 am its a mess,so much disconnections

It's here in the community itself. See the pinned post in BSNL broadband page.SNR should be high and Attenuation should be low.

If you are facing disconnection that means the internet doesn't work at all for a period of 10-15 mins, I discovered a trick which could work for you as well. What I do is I take out and replug the telephone wire which is going into the modem. I don't restart the whole modem I just replug the wire. My internet starts working immediately.

This disconnection problem I have been facing for several months now. I always use this.

However, I never faced the issue of slow speeds this is something new which is happening since last few days. My internet used to either work or didn't work at all, but I never used to get slow speeds.

oh ya speed wanst a problem for me ..just this discnnection..at exact to say i have seen a pattern-- 6 pm 7 pm sometimes then at 12-1 am morning hmm may be at 7am 9 am then 1 or 2 pm the reconnetion starts ! sometimes if i start chrome..the connection will restart ,sometimes with skype ..its like whenever i start some interenet program it will restart itself..few days now i am noting this,... damm annoying

I have the same problem but it's a bit different. since the last 15 days I have my BSNL router drop connection all the time like after just an hour of using it the whole day I can't get Internet. also I've done everything reset my router changed my DNS ANNDD done weird things like Wall mounting,changing my channel and all that but still I face this problem...Please help me. mine is a D Link 2.4 ghz DSL 2730u and we keep it near a 2.4 ghz cordless phone but we never faced a problem like this

bsnl recently changed download rate (kbps) gets adjusted automatically depends on your snr value, which makes our router to connect at minimum 6db (Which is very bad, frequent disconnection)

yeah somethIng is wrong with bsnl broadband, I am facing slow speed issues as well.

i made a complaint 4 days back ,the re connection issues have been little less frequent but this program to program travel still makes the internet to restart itself ! this is really getting annoying..is there even a word for this phenomenon or reaction or what ever it is to explain to them .. i am in skype chat typing and when i go to call ..reconnection will happen ,when i try to open chrome..then it happens again..what this refreshing restarting thing..soooooo dammm irritating now..
