There's nothing we can do from our end to fix this. BSNL's routing is f**ked up. I even had frequent disconnects from games and other clients but the internet did not disconnect, and their brains are way to small to understand this problem.
Not to mention single threaded downloads are way too slow during the daytime.

The best you can do is change your ISP.
By the way, wats with Anuragbhatia.com? Does it help in any way?
And i dont think Airtel Broadband has same Internet Plans Like BSNL. Does it have an unlimited one at 800 approx? maybe not..
Heard its Costly..

What he is trying to showcase is that BSNL being a sarkari company does not care about optimizing the routes for their customers. So, you basically get shitty international routing. You cannot do anything to fix it. The only option is to change your ISP if you consistently get shitty routing to international servers.

ok, Tell me this please..
Does it lag when when there are more than 1 broadband connection nearby?
Cause a boy living behind my house also is using the same plan as me and although its different Landline connection, I noticed that i lag whenever he comes online in this game WOW. Before he didnt have this net connection, i was fine..
my latency was good enough..
I know its a weird question, but i am getting paranoid day by day...
Does this type of situation happen?
Or is it just me?

It is quite abnormal. It should not happened. I had no such issues so far.

well i dont know, cause when i play this online game wow at morning ( between 5 AM to 8 AM approx) i dont feel lag and ms (latency) is fine that time.
200-400 ms latency is good for me..
But after that time it lags like hell! latency goes from 700 to 2000 ms !
Also heard that at night time ( 3 AM onwards) lags are less, why is that so?
This makes me think that it has something to do with other users around.

200 - 400 MS is not good, it's terrible. We should be getting around 150 MS.

This is an everyday scene for me:

Ya i understand that, but we cant never get that ms. The lowest i had was some 200 ms, now having same lag issue as you described in the link, I am using the default BSNL modem UT300R2U (type 1 ), Can modem deteriorate in its working during the years? Does changing modem help in any way?
And by the way nice UI you have there. Can you tell me what addons you use there?

We should be getting 150 MS considering Molten-WoW's server is in Netherlands. But the route goes all the way through U.S. and ends in U.S. while it should be ending in Netherlands considering the server is in Netherlands.
