For last 3-4 days I can not log into the portal [10.240.43.216] to check my usage !! Is anybody else having same problem?Im from Kolkata :imbored::imbored:

Clear the browser cache and try. If available, try Opera Turbo.

Well now even the BSNL portal at 10.240.240.195 link is down for a week... any more link you know of guys?

no link is working!!!!!!!!!!! what we suppose to do????????????

I am amazed , at the complaints by users, about Usage portals not accessible/ non functional in First week of every month.

What is the use of checking after the month is over ?

Check regularly with FireFox browser and add on dataFox
and make settings to show warning colr when you approach say 80% usage. ( will work if Bsnl usage portals are available )

2. have a standby FREE application which monitors your usage
on hourly/weekly/monthly basis to cross check/ compare the data usage..
Many applications have been listed in this forum.

Try this: NetworX

Bandwidth monitor, bandwidth speed test, bandwidth and traffic monitoring tool for Windows

or Shaplus or Tautology BW meter or Netmeter or Sunil's application.

3. If You are rgistered for VAS, you can get an idea about the Telephone bill online. ( depends on different cities/States)
and also make payment/s.

PS: VOIP traffic will not be recorded by NetworX.
I exceeded my 1 GB ( H24)quota in BSNL on 26th itself because of VOIP use, and Datafox alerted me to switch over to my other ISP connection Airtel also 1 GB day( Billing cycle 26th to 25th ). VOIP usually during free NU of Airtel. 0900PM to 0800AM top up plan Old user 3 years )

Usage checking is the main part while surfing on internet.
All the links can be used to check usage.
But, if you don't want to go to particular link and enter IP of site.. here's the solution.
Just go to this LINK and after reading the content, download the software according to your IP. It's a FREEWARE.
After running software, all you have to do is, enter username or portal id (it depends on your IP address) and password.
You will get all the details of usage from BSNL Official site.
Try this and tell me your opinion. 🙂

Today, strangely the portal says 'You don't have a broadband connection' :wall:

It even says i don't have any facilities availed yet.

From the last 3 months, they are struggling to get the portal functioning properly. All in vain!!!
And we have to suffer even after paying our bills promptly 😡

They better attach a health warning to this site!

I had the same experience as you have reported. I opened an account for a friend. All was "okay" for some days in that there was a phone connection (without any useful information obviously) and then one fine day that was "vanished" and there was an invitation to apply for a new connection.

I didn't mention it here because it might look like too much complaining.

IT superpower,
Jai Ho!
