sir i have bsnl 750 Unlimited plan , my speed increase to 60 kB/s for 2 days but than it started fluctuatingits 10-20 kB/s before 12 noon than 1to 2 am its 50 -60 KB/s than again 10-20~~and when i pick up my phone dsl light shuts offand when i open 192.168.1.1 >>device info >> Line Rate - Upstream (Kbps): is way greater than Line Rate - Downstream (Kbps):

Looks like your telephone line is unstable. Contact your telephone exchange and get it checked.
mine also same problem but dsl doesnot shuts off sometimes in a day download speed comes to 60 kbps but sometimes 9 kbps as if i download from
OpenDNS
firmware
speed goes upto 280 kbps but from hotfile or other international sites it comes down.I tried external Dns not working and ip change no improvement .and also no disturbance in line .scanned with norton 2010 fully updated no virus found.I am on PPPoe.

There is no any big problem , iam also same problem before but the problem , in 750 speed is upgrated 256kbps to 512kbps , The telephone Exchange is upgrated in your place after the upgradation u will get DW speed upto 120kb minimum ................. i am getting know
If in U R connection is P2.2 port than go to BSNL CSC near by you (first confrom the port) change it to P3 port ok .........
