BSNL is inserting ads in websites, sending their users to malware sites through malware code injection

hi, nikil sharma, i use chrome and so i downloaded your popup blocker.
But did you read the privacy settings.
Is it normal or contains some more .
i downloaded as it also stops overlay, which is annoying nowadays in mobile and in pc.

Hi, admin,
please make special that this annoying issue is always on the top of your forum screen.
No reply from the bsnl officials and nib.
i do not have facebook and twitter, so not watching the threads in connection with this topic subject in the respective heads.

Hi Folks,
Just moved to BSNL broadband Fiber connection. Finding these annoying ads/ redirects when visiting suites such as espncricinfo. This is a huge forum. Are are any summary tips on what can be done to reduce/ remove this issue?
I use phone, iPad, windows PCs.
Thanks

so. the easy way is to use a VPN at all time.
the other way is to keep locating the IPs being used to deliver ads and keep on blocking them at router level (if your router as such a feature) or device level.

Hi, It is a pity that BSNL has not taken care of its users after so much comments .
Even the link is shared , but solution is not coming.
Hi, admin
Even if you block for eg. naganoadigei.com in router, the annoyance is stopped, but the page starts to load in loop with never ending, and the user has to close the tab.
This is the annoyance.
There may be some ways to disable totally in firewall. but, i am afraid that it may block some the original site from loading itself
Hi, admin
how to use router firewall. i do not have exlicit menu on that

You can user ad-blockers and firewall , but that doesn't prevent the code injection from happening. It only prevents Pop-ups from opening.

The code starting like below was getting added to http websites
<script async="" src="//117.254.84.212:3000/getjs?

I finally called up a friend in BSNL. He said, if I'm a paid user ( I have FTTH conenction ) I shouldn't be getting the ADs. The ADs "feature", as they call it (we call it code injection ;-)) was given for certain users who were using some FREE connection of BSNL.

Anyway, one complaint to BSNL's Public grievances cell fixed it within 24hrs. If you are in kerala , following link would be of help

👆 PG CELL home page http://www.kerala.bsnl.co.in/grievance/grievance.asp

I'm sure every state will have a similar link. Within 24hours , they gave a call back and said the issue has been fixed. I tested and found that the code injection stopped too.

Hi, Inform your Bsnl friend that the ad injection is not experienced by free bsnl connection user. All the bsnl users have this problem.
You please go through the 1st letter and then you know that it is not not as easy as they say. If http site is clicked then you get all sorts of fake ads redirection. If it is a https site, then you do not have problem. it means the site is allowed to be used by the ads seekers and ads peekers.
We do not wan to click a http link to go to snapdeal or Amazon.in .Would you lilke.
That is what we want bsnl to stop.

Guys, have anyone ever complained about BSNL Ad Injection on Unencrypted Sites?

They probably run a Node app
Ip - http://117.254.84.212:3000/

Will probably DDOS that Son of a B**ch soon.

Even worse is the thing that it's not just ads they are injecting, there are some sites they inject which are clearly malware sites asking you to "install java to proceed" and such stuff. Install malware of course.

I feel concerned for the non-tech-savvy people who might be clicking on these links in their home PCs.
