BSNL 8Mbps. Is it avail now?? Read This!!

LOL at 8mpbs, still no unrestricted 1mbps - let's just forget about anything else for another 5 years.

I expected 8 Mbps to become norm by now. I've had that for over a year.



Yeah, Data Rate is only 7100 Kbps because BSNL technicians here are retarded and don't know how to increase my speed beyond that. Nonetheless, I get speeds up to 800 KB/sec in IDM usually so I am more than happy.

Me too on 8mbps/50gb speed with BSNL at the moment... pretty happy with it, except for the Rs 3000/- per month bill

It is a great plan, unfortunately way out of my budget What is the speed you are getting ?

Mostly 3-4 mbps, but I do get 7-8 mbps when downloading from multiple sources like linux repos or bittorrent etc...
