BSNL 3G lw272 USB modem not detecting sim on win 8

Upgraded to win 8 pro from win 7....later lw272 BSNL 3G USB modem dashboard says starting and searching...show no error message but does not detect the sim ..... uninstalled and re installed with same end result......changed compatibility to win 7 and gave run as administrator....the problem persists with modem starting and searching for the sim....looking for help to connect to internet
 
install Nokia PC suit (Nokia_PC_Suite_eng_web full)
open bsnl 3g
open pc suit
when bsnl 3g shows starting and searching
click connect to internet
click on settings
select HSDPA data card
click next
select manually
give your access point
finish
click connect
-- you have successfully done--
for further connections,click on network from task bar, connect to hsdpa data card(when it showing starting and searching)
