Browsing Stops In Between For Sometime

I am having 256k Dataone 1200 Plan. Since installation, i am facing problem using broadband connection in which browsing stops for sometime & resume automatically though if i am downloading any file during this time then it keeps on going. I complained about it to concerned in BSNL after which they tried options like changing modem, splitter, telephone line & port at area exchange but nothing worked. At my end also, i changed the platform from XP (SP2) to Win98se but nothing worked. When i ping the broadband gateway from my PC, it shows request timed out but when i ping from ADSL modem, it shows success. Is anyone have faced similar problem or having solution for it ?
 
It seems that your problem is due to slow DNS servers at BSNL end.You can resolve it by installing "tree walk DNS" software.
 
"Tree Walk DNS" ? Can you tell us what this software does and where to find it? 🤔 Give a download location please. 🙄
