Broadband line drops with incoming outgoing tel call

It is funny that the service which is called broadband is disturbed by incoming as well as outgoing tel calls from same line. What is the difference then between broadband and dial up connection. Will the obsolete technology of bsnl ever overcome this drawback. Doubtful but still hopefull as i am unfortunately bsnl broadband user
 
check phone connection .it should come thru spliter.it splits data and voice.it shouldn't be parallel or else contact isp
