Broadband in Punjab.

I did a search, but could not find any topic releated to this.

I was planning to move to Punjab for a while(5 yrs 😛 ), Mohali to be more specific.

I wanted to know which broadband connection would be the best.

What i am looking for is-
Anything from 256 or more
UNLIMTED USAGE.

After going thru a few threads here, i saw that different ppl have diff opinion about the same providers in different states.

So, what do you say will be the best thing to go for in Punjab (Mohali)?

I will be moving to punjab in around 4 months, so also tell me if theres any upcoming scheme.

As far as possible, please also tell the costs involved.

PS : Im coming to Mohali : Phase 2

mohali... ur best bet would be if airtel has arrived in your area. my friend was using airtel gprs with really bad speeds. not sure about other players. bsnl should be there though. my suggestion if u find nothing would be get a bsnl phone and purchase the vsnl unlimited dialup package.

i think jolly mohali has airtel DSL... check their website airtel.ini live in chd n AFAIK Airtel DSL is there in Mohali.Try calling their customer care : 0172 - 4444555even ill try n confirm it 4 u. Which sector / phase u planning to come 2

sorry jolly!!its not available in ph 2its available at the following locations in mohali 😛hase 3b2, 7, 3b1, 4, 5 sector 68 & sec 70.

i had that bad feeling. its not where we want it to be. its in panchkula not in sector 6.
