Status SHOWTIME Mode G.DMT Type Interleave Downstream Upstream Rate (Kbps) 2042 830 SNR Margin (dB) 23.9 18.0 Attenuation (dB) 26.0 13.5 Output Power (dBm) 19.6 11.9 Super Frames 62104 62102 Super Frame Errors 2 0

Ok. Attenuation is higher. Your D/L speed is normal ? ?
1.Mention modem model.
2.Connect all phones AFTER ADSL splitter supplied by BSNL.
3.If not possible use additional ADSl splitters for PHONE/s ONLY.
4 Check in modem's WAN page Idle time : set it to 0)

yeah download speed is somewhat normal.. for torrents i get about 80kB/s and direct downloads are also fast...my modem is the old one that is DareGlobal DB108i have connected al phones after my splitter... actually i am connecting the incoming line to my home directly to the ADSL splitter...and i cannot see an idle time in WAN page...:ashamed:

Modem : DareGlobal DB108
Problem:frequent disconnection every 20 minutes.
and i cannot see an idle time in WAN page
See the link from GOA BSNL. ( Post No 5 ) If the WAN page,
where you have entered your ID and password is different Post screenshot.
Your modem appears similar to Beetel 220BX .
Change Mod to GDMT if in ADSL2+

😢For the last two days I haen't been able to connect to the internet. 😡Only today, I've been able to connect to internet. 😡

hey i configured my modem to work in bridged mode now.. i think it solved the problem... i am not sure will have to put it to test full tonight... well putting it in bridged mode started another problem... i used windows dialer to dial in and it shows the 2 connected computers... but along with it another same icon is there in taskbar telling there is limited or no connectivity by the lan card... i think its not able to acquire the ip address... internet is working fine eventhough...

Please post Device status page and WAN page. for my database. With " limited or no connectivity" how you get connected ?Post ipconfig/all . Start run type cmd type ipconfig/allor Start Network/LAN/status/ support details.

here is ipconfig/all output

after changing it to bridge i cant access the modems page in 192.168.1.1... i dont know what to do... i cant telnet to that ip...what to do??

Your settings all messed up. Is it typing mistake or real ? or you blanked/ changed some info specially default gateway ? which should be 192.168.1.1
Subnet mask should be 255.255.255.0 Even if you give truthfully, all the info correctly,
next time you log in your DYNAMIC IP will Change.
169.254.120.111 This is a private Lan address and should be 192.168.1.X ( X 3 to 20 say)
Post Screen shot of your TCP/IP page. Uncheck all options other than
Client for Microsoft Networks, Network Monitor Driver, Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
Select obtain IP address automatically.
In DNS enter 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222 .222
Click Advanced go to WIn select "Default" for netbios setting.
Check again.

Presume you entered 192.168.1.1 manually in default Gateway in TCP/IP properties.
and retained the rest of the settings ? specially 169.254.120.111
Post fresh Ipconfig/all data to confirm about your IP/subnetmask dns selected etc.
there is limited or no connectivity
Now are you able to surf and access the web sites ?
