I'm using BSNL broadband having SIEMENS SL2-141 ADSL MODEMI use to connect to internet using Wifi on my laptop. How can i share the internet connection on my Desktop using Ethernet crossover cabel via Laptop What is the use of Four RJ45 Lan port in ADSL modem

Ignore the switch. LAN outputs from modem used.
Connect another Rj45 from LAN port 1,2,3,or 4 to desk top. ethernet port.
you can use three more desktop computers, ( all should have ethernet card.
Wireless card for Desktop also available ) Laptop will work as usual. ( without any connection to siemens sl2-141.)
Thanks for reply I'm not using always on broadband connection it is a Dial up broadband. So if i use internet on Desktop using Lan Card then i will not access it by laptop using wireless lan. I want to share my internet connection in the following manner:-1. I connection to the internet using wireless Lan on laptop2. Now i want to share it on my Desktop computer using Ethernet crossover cable from laptop to PC. Is it possible

Computer (desktop) will get connected to Internet. Laptop will work in Wi-Fi mode. ( no connections)
Who is your ISP ? DATAONE/MTNL/AIRTEL ?
