Broadband connection for LAN

Hi
the following line shows how to connect DSL for multiuser

At persent I am using 192.168.2.X series for my computers
can I change the LAN IP settings like above link(192.168.1.x) it will work

or any ther method is there.

At persent I am sharing the connection with winproxy.

Open the properties dialog of Local Area Connection in Network Connections (if you are using winxp). then open the tcp/ip properties and enter the required values

if you've a DSL router, you can enable the DHCP server and set the IP range there. you can then select "Obtain IP address automatically" in the Local Area Network properties (TCP/IP)... have a switch/hub connect to the router and then connect your PCs to the switch/hub. when you switch on the PCs, IP will be automatically assigned.. you can connect a wireless access point to the switch/hub.. if you need wireless connectivity..
