From last few days my broadband connection is getting dropped frequently and showing the page is not available. Everything shows okay, the modem lights, the icon on the task bar but there is no data exchanged. My modem is Siemens c2110. but the main thing is that i can't disconnect this. although after right clicking and clicking on disconnect, it remains as usual and the icon stays there. i also tried by switching off the modem to see whether the icon gives any response or not but it remains still. at last i have to restart my machine to get rid of this problem. wht would be the reason. Is it some virus/spyware/malware? I am using AVAST home addition Antivirus/spyware terminator. Any help.
