Blocking of internet services around the country during protests in India

just realized without mobile data, uber would have been totally inaccessible!
 
Its funny when Delhi Government asked to block sites - ISPs gave reason that HTTPS sites can not be blocked.

Now same people are able to block things that work on HTTPS?

Ah but first post says that directive was to block whatsapp, fb, twitter and youtube.. so since they cud not do that, they blocked everything??

the way things are... we would soon need a bluetooth powered messaging network that works similar to the one they showed on the last ship. too bad it is very unrealistic in real world.
 
If they are going to block interenet completely like this..then no point even taking VPN! 😀
