Bit Comet Speed Not Increasing...

Hi, i recently got a new Airtel 699 plan(128 kbps).... I wanted to download movies and stuff!!But, inspite of port forwarding on Bit comet , the speeds i get is pathetic... please can any knowledgable guy around here help me??I recide in south delhi( vasant kunj)Daytime download speed on bitcomet0.71 = around 9kBpsDaytime upload speed= 11 kBpsnight time download speed= 20 kBpsnight time upload speed=20 kBps I have used port forwarding on port 55555 on my beetel 220 bx modem( bit comet shows remote connections, so port forwrding has been done fine)I speedtested my connection..... on speedtest.netresults are: Download: 113kBps Upload: 96 kBpsWhat do you guys think is the problem.....???? Should i contact the airtel guys, how can i really improve my speeds??

it depends on ur torrent sometimes as u may b downloading some old movie.

First regarding the speedtest.net results... That would be 113kbps and 96kbps, all in Kilobits/sec. As far as contacting AirTel, they will do nothing coz they have thier irritating "upto 128kbps" to hide behind and will not consider your line slow unless you are getting below 64kbps(8KB/s).

same problem as mine just try utorrent and select port 55000 - 65000 problem solved

Thats right. Try with other trackers & torrents. Also try utorrent.

Try to get 256 kbps connection its worth itAnd also tweak ur system.Personally I dont pref any antivirus or firewalls on my system as they slow down ur net speed.But I use spybot.And make sure u have removed 20% from qos trick.and ur system has very few processes running in background just check it with ur task manager in my system 13 processes run including taskmanger.
