BIG TV, India’s first fully digital and fastest growing DTH service, has reached the impressive figure of 500,000 subscribers in the four Southern States within five months of its launch. This has also put BIG TV DTH in the unique position of being the fastest growing DTH player in the country.
This current feat in South also follows BIG TV DTH’s earlier accomplishment of crossing the landmark 1 million-subscriber milestone rationally within 100 days of launch in August 2008, a first among global DTH players.
“It’s heartening to note that we’re scoring impressively in The South which has diverse content needs. Reaching the magic figure of 5-lakh customer milestone in the four Southern States was a great New Year gift to us. Both in Andhra Pradesh and Kerala too BIG TV has emerged as the fastest growing DTH operator as these two Southern States have significant number of both the regional and all-India channel viewers
