Ok so one of my cousin took Redmi Note 3 in Flipkart (or Amazon?) sale.
He is non-technical guy and did not know about VOLTE.
After he got phone and he got JIO SIM as well (@299Rs) (surprisingly got activated in 2 hrs!!)
Now he has hit the issue because Redmi Note 3 is NON-VOLTE phone. (its 4G without VOLTE)
Its a DUAL SIM phone and he has put old number in 2nd SIM slot.
His JIO calls dont work without data turned on.
Also for some reason - incoming calls are not reaching as well
But those are known issues.
BIGGEST PROBLEM / ISSUE is that
If he is talking via JIO which is via data call and ANOTHER call comes on 2nd SIM card his active call over JIO disconnects.
This happens because PHONE gives priority to call OVER data and disconnects JIO data connection so that incoming call can be received.
This is BIGGEST ISSUE I think noone has mentioned - OR atleast I have not seen.
Hence I am creating new thread so that issue is highlighted
In short if you are planning to get JIO as secondary SIM then ONLY GET VOLTE enabled phone else be ready for interruptions.
