mtnl, bsnl, airtel, sify, tata, reliance are all resetting p2p packets.
By having this verdict we should send letters to TRAI to take the same measure.

Dont lets this golden opportunity pass.

No, the FCC has not made a final ruling on the Comcast matter. The news story said that the Chairman is recommending a course of action the would impose no fine on Comcast but require it to change its P2P management system in some subtle way. Comcast is already changing it, so the order, if and when it comes down, will do nothing. The FCC is made up of four commissioners and a chairman, and a majority vote is required before it can take any action.Save the Internet is a bit premature in their announcement that they've saved the Internet, but it never needed saving any way.Pinne kannaam.

I suggest you do some research.Saying that there is no threat to the net is just immature.Even the creator of world wide web Sir tim Berners lee is concerned about net neutrality being not followed

here is his concern and what the isps want.

ps: iam disgraced by your reply thread"fake news".This is mainstream buddy, are you working with telcos for info war then you are loosing the war.

i dont think MTNL is RSTing/blocking torrents

see the pdf report.mtnl and bsnl name is there. They block 10-11% of p2p traffic with sify worse off by blocking 19% of p2p traffic.

They have been caught. We need to take this issue with TRAI.The isps are illegaly managing network buy RST'ing p2p traffic.

RST also goes for legal RST of TCPIP connection (like after download of chunk finishes or torrent client is closed etc), so that must be that.

I also checked that.My network moniter plugin didn't find any reset when i was not using torrents and RST packets were used whenever i used torrent.

Just download vuze p2p software and network status moniter plugin.
see it for yourself

thats what i am saying, RST can also come legally when download of chunk finishes. u can only verify if MTNL is actually sending RST by checking if RST came before the download of chunk finishes which is very tough to detect

I dont have a mtnl conn..The only way to know this is by filing a RTI but i doubt that the isp's would tell the truth, but i damm know that indian isp's are doing network management. We dont even use 1\10 of the total bandwidth of USA.The fallout of this ruling by FCC has forced isps to introduce time base and MB based plans which is prevalent here,so no excuse by indian isp's as to why they are doing (illegal)network managment.
