Baskin Robbins Ice Cream prices in India have reached insane levels

in other news i paid 200 rupees for a cone with 2 scoops of ice cream at baskin robbins. i had no idea we were now paying american prices for ice cream.

on the 31st of applicable months they give a 30% discount on their ice creams... we usually stock up for about 2-3k worth every 3-4 months or so...doesnt last more than 15 days 🙂

righto. i always miss out on this deal even when they had a shop in my local market. that shop could not survive one year in this area because of the price of the ice cream. i was a regular customer though.

Threads like these are good reminder that India is a poor country where rich people live. A rickshaw puller in Old Delhi area earns Rs 200 in day after the back-breaking hard work and here we are getting worked up about ice cream price.
