Backing Up Mobile

I'm thinking to back up my mobile. But, the problem is that not all files is visible (and copied) in certain folders.

Neither am i able to know where the space is being used. But, in the file manager, the contents are visible.

Is there any solution for the above problem, and any inputs on how the files in the mobile can be backed up?
 
Do you have Android or iOS, are you looking to create a backup of the entire rom or something specific?
 
I'm looking to backup the files. I'm using an Android.
The problem is that when connected to PC, it doesn't show up all the files in a particular folder.
 
Since you’re experiencing challenges in accessing data in a specific folder, you’ll have to share more details about it. For example, if that folder was manually created or by an application. If it’s an appplication folder then the name of the app.
 
It's not a particular folder. I see it in many. For Example. something which i download is not present in the download folder (when i view on PC), until i rename it once.
