Are these ONU readings even possible?

sercomm ont ?

Yea, I don't think it's the ONU tho. Since except ping nothing else is working.

Ping statistics for 1.1.1.1:
Packets: Sent = 191, Received = 157, Lost = 34 (17% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 4ms, Maximum = 17ms, Average = 6ms

Can someone tell me how are my values? Are they okay?

Active engineer suggests that there has been a fiber twisting most likely intentionally, my whole building and a neighbouring building is experiencing the issue.
@havoc yea, your values are perfect.

Mine is also 1492...
Isn't 1492 good? I tried decreasing MTU & it slowed down my single threaded speeds 🤦

These are the maximum possible MTUs. (Not optimal)
These were suboptimal when devices where old and connections where slower than grandma's. Now it doesn't matter.
Nowadays, devices have a very high pps, so it doesn't really matter unless it's within the required norms.

I always saw a caution in fiber devices "don't look at the laser directly, it can damage your eyes" is it true? Till what extinct? @Lolita_Magnum if you can clarify? Is it really harmful? Given that the frequency of light is very different...

WTH I tried looking into it in dark by bringing it close to my eyes thinking I'll get to see light in it. You scared me.
