well technically it's winters so AC is on. my problem is the noise coming from the gfx card. i have thought about cleaning it up but gave up the idea. was curious if the system was getting excessively hot resulting in fans going nuts.
No problem with the temp. It's under control & managable if you ignore the noise. Cleaning the fans may reduce a noise a little. But a better psu upgrade would get rid of the noise ...
PSU and CPU Fans are fine. GPU is the annoying part. CPU fan and PSU are both CM with larger fans. If I stop the GFX can for a few seconds the system pretty much become ultra silent 😀It is a mid-range Sapphire unit with a crappy fan. I guess I should have invested in a unit with a better quality fan.
What's your psu & gpu? Normally a gpu or cpu stock fan won't make that noise unless the thermal paste gets vapourized. If i'm not wrong the psu is struggling lightly when the gpu on full load in use. So a psu upgrade would fix it ...
You have a decent psu. Remove the gpu stock fan, clean & reinstall it properly. See if that fixes the problem. If not get a new fan from ebay international
I got the fan replaced on my GPU, but then the guy moved to Varansi so derp. Have you tried managing the fan speed yourself? Maybe with MSi Afterburner?
