Archer C6 - Airtel Configuration

Hi Guys,

I have an airtel broadband connection. I recently purchased Archer c6. I am not able to make it work with airtel if i follow the wizard. Can you please guide me?

it should work fine as an access point. from my understanding. you put the lan cable in the lan port (yellow iirc) and not wan. and use the wizard to configure it as an access point instead of router mode and it should work.

access point would provide wi-fi network. c6 is not a dsl or ftth router.

He is not very clear. But yeah, Bridge mode is possible on Airtel. Needs some config change from Airtel's side. So he would have to contact Airtel first afaik.

using the same router archer c6. I have cat6 cable also, and have 200 mbps connection. So which mode will be better!

TP-Link pushed an update for Archer C6 and A6, enhanced the wifi connectivity through this update.

Do you guys have any idea about ping spikes over WiFi on Archer A6 or C6?
Like it stays at 12ms,13ms,14ms and then jumps to 600ms, then comes down to 12ms the next second.
I have tried with two different ISPs, its not an ISP issue.

@Juniper I don't have that issue on my Archer A6 V3.

Not sure if it is related but I do face similar issue on my laptop while using Wi-Fi but it happens with every router.
