Speed is good. you can get around 25 ~ 30 KBps for 256 Kbps connection.It take around 7-10 days to install. Call 1500 they will give you a fair idea for your area.abt linux - Connection through internal ppp dialer works just fine as in windows . if you want to use xDSL connection ie OS to dial your connection there is some configuration problem i am facing
