Anyone having Mtnl Garuda?

Since I was informed at Sanchar Haat in Delhi that MTNL is no longer selling its CDMA Garuda Mobile connection, I still want a CDMA number for accessing internet on Cdma band. Anyone selling their non-using Garuda number? We may consider transfering the number ownership (if possible). I'll pay.

Just got a call from MTNL (Mumbai) that Garuda services will be shut down!!

So I should make alternate arrangements! Or take MTNL postpaid dolphin network card! 😀

When asked when will it shut down? She said date is not fixed yet.

But I suppose it would be soon by end of year.

Avoid DOLPHIN, unless you're planning to keep the phone at home!

Also, I guess, this is due to the fact that mtnl is returning its CDMA 800 spectrum.

I already have 3 dolphin mobiles!! Facing NO issues!

Not as good as Vodafone or Airtel but not bad either.

Garuda was anyway extra phone for me! Was thinking of surrendering it anyway.

But I kept it because my plan was 99Rs rent and 99Rs MTNL-to-MTNL free.

So effectively I was getting phone for FREE! 🙂

I have aircel sim in gsm fwt recharge it 10Rs. Every month. Working without a glitch for last 6 month.
Who needs mtnl shitty network.
