Any deadlines for upgrade to Excitel fiber?

Hi. I have taken an Excitel connection in Central Delhi. Currently I am using an FTTH connection but Excitel says that the fiber provided to me is from the LCO’s end and that their “network upgrade” will happen soon.
Is there a set time limit for this upgrade because I am only able to use copper plans on my fiber connection?
 
@gauravsinha123 Excitel announced that they will upgrade all existing copper users to fiber by this year end. But they will extend this timeline for sure to July, 2022 or more if they are unable to achieve it.
 
Did your LCO charge for FTTH connection? Or did you get FTTH by default?
 
I initially had copper for some time. Then my LCO installed FTTH and gave me a simple GPON device without wifi. He charged me ₹500 for it and said it is from Excitel. But when I asked Excitel, they said that they did not provide me with Fiber and that their network upgrade is going on.
