So, basically... It is nothing.

To become a part of airtel’s 200 million happy families

HAPPY? More like frustrated families with no other option -.-

Renewing? means in between they forgot about these customers (and serving African customers)??? 😀

Airtel tries to convert every disaster into a marketing opportunity.Forgetting the cardinal rule: No marketing can ever save a bad product or service.

Airlel uses every possible way to increase customer base and to defnd their FUP and disease is spreading to another ISP's too.

Sent an email:

Hi!

I truly do miss your services. Drop the FUP, and stop throttling torrents, and I, and I'm sure at least a couple of hundred more users would love to come back to you!

P.S.: Please do not call me for any correspondace regarding this. I'd prefer email communication.

Response will be on the lines of

Hi,

We tried to solve your issue but were unable to get in touch with you.
Please send your contact number to [emailid]

Even if they don't drop FUP, they could do well to increase the high speed data limit for the current plans. They could also increase the post-FUP speed to 512 kbps if not 1 mbps. I think these are the two main complaints against Airtel, in this forum. I don't torrent from home. So, I wouldn't know about the throttling of torrents or file sharing sites.

Throttling torrents is a deal breaker when all your plans already have FUPs. I am not even complaining about FUPs anymore. 150GB more or less works for me. But they are simply being absurd throttling torrents during the day time.

In any case, if anyone of you call or write mail to airtel and they offer you 'special offer/package' please provide the details here so that we can all see what they are not offering to their 'loyal customers'.

Is airtel still have loyal customers or customers who dont have much choice? Loyality is a very heavy word and it comes when there is a equilibrium between two parties

I will reply them to know the data packages they are providing now. :uncomfortableness:Had to call on the number they provided, thr backend dept will call within 2 days and discuss.

Airtel is piece of crap..no wonder they loot ppl from all third world countries...i mean uptil now i used to pay 800bucks for 8gb limit (2mbps) ,then 256kbps, i mean if limit was 20 or 30gb that would still have been ok, but this is complete f**kin...
