Android phone backup on PC

Hi,

I am currently using Moto G (1st gen). I am planning to but Redmi note 3 or some other android phone under exchange offer.

That means that I have to give my old phone at time of delivery and should have taken the complete backup of the phone on PC or google drive.

Please advise what is free best fastest way to backup every thing on my phone to PC ( videos, photos, contacts, SMS messages, WhatsApp Chat etc) and easy retore it back as it is to new phone?

videos and photos - copy to PC
contacts - export to SD card and then copy to PC
SMS - use third party app from playstore to backup and then restore
whatsapp - use the inbuilt backup feature linked to ur number
