Analog TV to TV Tuner in India

Hi,

I am not sure If I'm posting my question in the right place but thought somebody can help me out.

I bought a TV Turner card model#TV Products Expert - Currently I am in Australia. The Analog and Digital TV works just fine here. (This card has the RF connector which is exactly like the connectors in india (TV))

I am getting back home very soon. I would like to know if this card will work with India's specification. I think we have Analog and digital (Setup box) but I just need analog..Is it the software that tunes the channels or should it be the hardware capable to tune the india's frequency?

Please let me know if not I can buy a different one...

This device is going to work in india as well, even i myslef has hauppage tv tuner card which worked in both countries australia , india and germany.if it won't work, then call me i will make it work for u or else i will by this from u lolz

hi I've bought Avermedia Tv tuner from USA. will it work in India? I am afraid can anybody help me if i get trouble?

do we require any special cable connector for tv tuner cards that works in USA. I've bought one from USA having cable that is US standard compatible (NTSC). I am going to use this in india. which standard cable we use in india for TV? what is technical name of it? RC cable?

If you are going to use analog cable with no set top box then the tuner should be able to tune to PAL B. If your card only supports NTSC then it will not work in India for analog cable.If you have a STB then you probably can use the capture capability of the card for recording tv.
