AMP Browser Extension - Chrome Web Store

using this chrome app for accessing amp version of web pages.

the developer seems to offer a custom chrome build with additional features:

AMP Browser - accelerate web browsing

automatically loading AMP & MIP web pages whenever possible,
highlighting AMP results in Google Search
switching between AMP and full-blown HTML pages on demand by clicking the ⚡ icon,
using Google AMP Cache for faster loading,
using Google Data Saver for less data usage,
using Data Saver Lo-Fi mode (no images) on very slow connections,
sending Save-Data request header,
blocking ads and tracking scripts based on URL patterns,
using Brotli compression,
showing internal pages using Material Design,
using a local New Tab page,
automatically discarding tabs on low memory,
throttling expensive background timers,
fast windows unloading,
enabling experimental web platform, canvas and JS features.

Facepalm. I was expecting a separate extension to install on the website but I guess since Google has disabled loading extensions externally, download a complete browser. :/

Yes. I was talking about the website. I didn't read your description and assumed another extension on the website which infact is a custom chromium build.

I have these three options enabled.

Load AMP or MIP pages automatically
Use Google AMP Cache (faster)
Add Save-Data client hint request header

Works well. Not sure if the fourth one is of any use.

list of domains i had to whitelist until now.

Code:
www.nytimes.com
www.newindianexpress.com
old.reddit.com
www.reddit.com
www.flipkart.com
www.aliexpress.com
m.aliexpress.com

there are a few domains that ends up in infinite redirect loop as they try to switch to regular web version on desktops. asshats.

and of course, i really hate online stores that use amp. what are they trying to achieve. snapdeal does it. flipkart seems to be doing it as well. you cannot really shop on the amp version. adds nuisance.
