iirc Amazon gave a lot of time for the price hike from 500 to 1000 bucks few years ago. looks like this time around also it might only be implemented from early next year.

Will the subscription validity also increase if we pay it now? Or will it be valid till 1 year from today? My subscription ends in May next year.

Do you see an option to renew your subscription? It should renew for another year, not restart your subscription, atleast that's what happens if you renew a month early. I don't think Amazon would intentionally do that, if it not handled automatically you can get it corrected via CC.

i dont see any option to renew membership. looks like the offer is only for non-prime members.
