I remember Amazon guys coming for coding interviews in my college. They wanted guys who could code in concurrent designs....
I laugh now whenever I use the app, because it flashes my screen red. A lot. Piss poor concurrency in the design. And poor UI response. Serves them right for rejecting my arrayList program solution.

seriously. this app is useless. very limited products listed and the products that i actually find are cheaper on Amazon.in. amazon needs to do much better to take on the likes of bigbasket. acquiring them would be a better idea.
 
Poor experience today. Ongoing offer that lets me get a cashback of Rs. 600 on an order of Rs. 3000. I started collecting items at around 7pm. By the time I was ready to place the order, the app essentially told me that the order cannot be placed today and I would need to try again tomorrow. Contacted the support which first admitted that I should have been able to place the order with delivery scheduled for tomorrow. After putting me on hold, he told me that the store is closed and I can only place the order tomorrow. The offer page clearly mentions that offer is applicable on all orders placed before midnight today. So that’s bullshit.

This is in addition to the missing Rs. 3000 topup that I added to Amazon Pay. It’s also stuck in some mysterious parallel universe. StanChart has not confirmed the payment. Amazon has not processed the gift card. Amazon again tells me to wait for a few hours before they can confirm what the status of the order is.

Looks like I am no longer ordering groceries from Amazon.
