Amazon has started rolling out its new ISP venture. This is starting to roll out in areas of Mumbai primarily between Malad and Bhayander.

It is fibre to premises and copper to home.

The only plan that they are offering is a 3 month for 1500. It includes unlimited internet@30Mbps, a free fire stick and prime membership for the duration.

Other pland with higher speed and with the option of a fire stick 4k will possibly roll out at a later date.
If unsatisfied, you can cancel it it and receive a 80% refund.

Lol, what is that. They are not even doing their own thing. Plus I'm guessing this like direct WIFI to home instead of placing any kind of cabling to your home??? Like Tikona?

899 (90 Days)
3300GB - 5Mbps (FUP 1Mbps)
1199 (180 Days)
3300GB - 5Mbps (FUP 1Mbps)
1499 (90 Days)
35GB/Day - 30Mbps (FUP 5Mbps)
Certainly seems to be not for power users.
Not sure what does the device supported part means. Maybe plans except 1499, only will allow the FireStick to be connected?

It was obvious that Amazon will be partnering with someone for this. What incentive does Amazon have of getting into this business? And in a country like India?
